THE PRESENTOSA
The “Presentosa” is a typical jewel of Abruzzi’s jewellery craft. It was given as a “present” – that’s the origin of its name “Presentosa” – to young women from their lovers as a love promise.  Even if its origins are dated back to the 18th century, it has become famous only thanks to Gabriele D’Annunzio’s work “Il trionfo della morte”.
